Trace the many coastal paths including 50 miles of heritage coastline, Cornwall’s ancient mining and maritime history, plus, mythical castles, and timeless tiny fishing harbours, including world famous Mousehole. Visit St Ives for art, golden sands and surf; enjoy Newquay, a great all year round holiday base offering beach fun, kite surfing, festivals, dramatic cliff top walks to blow away the cobwebs and, of course, home to top chef Rick Stein, foodie heaven at Padstow.

Top of the list for many taking time out to enjoy Cornwall are the fantastic beaches you’ll find scattered all round the coastline. Stay in anyone of our cottages in Cornwall including Bude, Perranporth and Port Isaac and you’ll never be far from the sea. Pack up the picnic and explore some of the 300 beaches for yourself, from tiny coves to broad sweeping sands; excellent for sandcastles, cricket and simply snoozing, which one will be your favourite?

For great days out check out the place often called the ‘eighth wonder of the world’: the vast topical ‘bio domes’ of the Eden Project . See what really goes on down in the deep at the Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay and, not to be missed, the National Seal Sanctuary, located in beautiful Helford Estuary.

Culture lovers prepare to be spoilt for choice: make a beeline for The Tate at St. Ives, Tintagel Castle and, recently voted the Nation’s favourite garden by BBC Gardeners’ World, The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Plus, plenty of entertainment for the kids including Crealy Adventure Park, Newquay Zoo, the National Maritime Museum and Springfields Pony Centre.
