Friend of travellers everywhere, TripAdvisor has recently published a list of the 10 dirtiest hotels in the UK. Of the ten, eight are in the nation’s capital – that’s right you have a higher chance of sharing your room with some unexpected guests if you book a hotel in London! TripAdvisor users describe one hotel as “a cradle of filth” and the “WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED I MEAN EVEEEER!!! While one user sums it up with a simple: “UUUGGGHHH!!!” Sounds lovely!
Number one on the list for the dirtiest hotel in the UK even managed to achieve the bizarre customer comment of “Alcatraz”. Incidentally the same hotel also wins the award for the dirtiest hotel in Europe, though we can’t imagine that’s an award they’ll be celebrating!
